Two civilians killed in Afghan bus blast


Kabul, May 24 (IANS): Two civilians were killed and six others injured on Sunday when a mini-bus they were travelling in struck a bomb in Afghanistan's Wardak province.

"A mini-bus hit an improvised explosive device along a road in Daymirdad district, and the explosion killed two civilians and injured six others," Xinhua reported, citing an official statement.

The injured, including a woman and two children, were shifted to the district hospital, the statement added.
