Four-day naval commanders meet to start on Monday


New Delhi, May 23 (IANS): A conference of top commanders of the Indian Navy will start in the national capital on Monday.

The second edition of the bi-annual commanders' conference will be held from May 25 to May 28, official sources said.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Navy Chief Admiral R.K. Dhowan and top commanders of the navy will attend the four-day conference.

"A number of operational, technical, logistic and administrative, including human resource-related issues are on the agenda for the meeting," an official said.
