Sunny Thursday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 21 (IANS): It was a sunny Thursday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.

"The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 43 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 50 percent.

Wednesday's maximum temperature settled a level above the season's average at 41.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 22.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
