Indian, Polish designers collaborate in craft project

New Delhi, May 18 (IANS): Furniture designers from India and Poland have collaborated for a project that would combine Indian craft techniques with Polish industrial production, organisers said on Monday.

An initiative by the Polish Institute, "Polish-IndoDesign Project 2015" would see Indian designer Gunjan Gupta and Polish designers Gosia Rygalik and Tomek Rygalik develop a series of products that will be showcased internationally.

"The aim is to research and develop new ideas, and create hybrid objects that would emerge out of this cross-cultural collaboration," said a statement.
