Sunny Saturday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 16 (IANS): It was a sunny Saturday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 22.4 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.

"The day will be clear. Dust storms are likely to occur in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 51 percent.

Friday's maximum temperature settled four notches below the season's average at 35.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 24.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
