Programme to empower stay-at-home mothers

New Delhi, May 7 (IANS): Babyhugz.com, an online portal that offers a wide array of baby products, has come up with the Mompreneur programme. It offers a lucrative means of financial sustenance to those mothers who have left their jobs to nurse their children.

The programme, which began in February and got officially launched on Thursday ahead of Mother’s Day which falls on the second Sunday of May, enables mothers to step into the world of entrepreneurship and earn a livelihood from the comfort of their homes.

“The Mompreneur programme will assist mothers in optimally utilising their free time, while being with their kids in their growth years. We are mainly targeting tier 2 and tier 3 cities for this programme,” Babyhugz’s CEO RP Singh, said in a statement.

The programme doesn’t require the enrolled person to invest or deliver products to anyone.
