Mumbai, Apr 27: Speaking about the nude clip that has gone viral and been circulated on Whatsapp director Anurag Kashyap said that he felt responsible for the whole mess. Describing Radhika as one of the bravest and forward thinking actress of the present times, the director also revealed that the spread of that clip has made her feel victimised.

The clip that has been doing the rounds has been grossly misconstrued so as to make it appear more vulgar than it actually was. Radhika, who was acting in a short film by Anurag, had been partially nude as per the demand of the script. Anurag further explained that the film had been made only for international release and the spread of the clip had completely stripped the intention with which the film was made.

He said, "It took us so much time to do it in a non-sexual way, as it is meant to be absolutely non-sexual and we took all the care we could. It was not easy to find an actor who is brave enough to participate in it. The entire shooting crew was women as we knew that we were making something as sensitive as this. And there were girls at every stage of the post-production. At every stage of the post-production, that part was either sent blank or pixelated before being sent. So, nobody even knew who is a part of the film. And everybody assumes that since it is an Indian film, it will always be pixelated. After taking all the care, the film was delivered to New York a month back. And then, all of a sudden after a month from nowhere, this video popped up online."

In a bid to take appropriate action against the culprit, Anurag said that he had met with Rakesh Maria, who has since got the Cyber crime team to work on the case. Anurag has vowed to find the person responsible and make them pay for this disgusting deed. Radhika Apte was seen in Hunterrr and Badlapur both directed by Anurag.
