Mumbai, Apr 27: Claiming that she was there entirely for business, Katrina Kaif has finally joined the happening micro-blogging site and started it off with news about her upcoming debut at Cannes. Her twitter handle too makes it absolutely clear that she has joined the site to tweet about her activities and excitement regarding her trip to Cannes and back. Her twitter handle is @KatrinaAtCannes.

Reportedly she is mimicking the moves set by Ranbir who too had taken to Twitter - for business only, way back in January.

Attending an event by L'Oreal to celebrate its 18th year as official make-up partner to Cannes International Film Festival here on Saturday, the actress kept her fans updated periodically.

Her tweets came in steadily on April 25 as follows:

8:56 AM: Exciting day today! On my way to the @LOrealParisIn press conference. Have you heard the big news?

12:16 PM: So excited to be at the @LOrealParisIn press conference! #TheCannesStars

12:54 PM: It's official! Will be making my debut at the opening of the
Cannes Film Festival 2015

6:39 PM: Such a fun day with the gorgeous @sonamakapoor at the @LOrealParisIn press conference! #CantWaitForCannes pic.twitter.com/Mkq790oIFL

Most of the tweets carried a photo of the actress alongside Sonam Kapoor who will also be representing L'Oreal at the 68th Cannes festival as will Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. About her upcoming walk on the red carpet, Katrina said, “It is an absolute honour to represent L'Oréal Paris and India in particular at such a prestigious international platform. I’m excited since I’ll be at the opening ceremony. I’ve been working closely with the brand to create a unique look for my appearance.”
