Mumbai, Mar 14: After putting up with a horde of controversies and emotional trauma, Rahul Mahajan, son of the late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, is all geared up to set foot in Bollywood production.
It is speculated that he will take up this mission in coordination with actor-friend Sanjay Dutt, who has a firm foot in the industry.
As sources have it, Rahul is very close to Sanjay and they have been friends since a long time. When Pramod Mahajan was on his deathbed, Sanjay was one of the very few people from the film fraternity to visit him in the hospital.
Rahul had also tried his hand at television production earlier, but he only got lukewarm response for TV soaps like Tak Dina Dhin on Doordarshan and Taste of India on DD2.
Now that he has decided to take up film production in all seriousness, he says that he is doing his homework and looking for good, meaningful scripts.
