Sunny Saturday in Delhi, some rain expected Sunday


New Delhi, April 11 (IANS): It was a sunny Saturday in the national capital with the maximum temperature recorded a notch above the season's average at 36.2 degree Celsius. The Met office has forecast light rainfall on Sunday.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy on Sunday. One or two spells of rain or thundershower may occur in some areas," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The maximum and minimum temperature would hover around 34 and 20 degrees Celsius respectively.

Saturday's minimum temperature was recorded at 19.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.

Friday's maximum temperature and minimum temperature was 34.7 and 18.3 degrees Celsius respectively, a notch below the season's average.
