Warm Monday in Delhi, some rain likely Tuesday


New Delhi, April 6 (IANS): Delhi experienced a warm Monday though the maximum temperature was 31.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average. The Met Office said Tuesday will be cloudy with light rainfall in some parts of the city.

"Tuesday will be cloudy with light rainfall in the afternoon. Evening is also likely to be windy," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here.

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 degrees and 19 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The minimum temperature on Monday settled at 17.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.

Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 30.3 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 16.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
