Two soldiers killed in Sri Lanka accident


Colombo, April 1 (IANS): Two army soldiers were killed and 28 civilians were injured when an army truck collided with a passenger bus in Sri Lanka, police said.

Police said the bus was travelling from the capital Colombo to Moneragala in Uva district when it collided with the army truck at Ratnapura, 100 km southeast of Colombo, Xinhua news agency reported on Wednesday.

The wounded were rushed to a nearby state hospital for treatment.
