Pilot killed in Bangladesh training aircraft mishap


Dhaka, April 1 (IANS): The pilot of a training aircraft was killed on Wednesday after it crashed on the runway in Bangladesh's Rajshahi city.

The crash took place at the Shah Makhdum Domestic Airport, bdnews24.com reported.

The plane's engine caught fire while it was taking off, a police official said.

The crash killed the trainee pilot and injured the trainer, the official added.
