Bangalore, Feb 25: Multilingual actor and member of Parliament Jayaprada, who was once described by well known director Satyajit Ray, as the most beautiful actress in the Indian film industry was set to return to the acting in a movie with Dr. Vishnuvardhan.

The movie's name was Ee Bandhana("This Bond"). It was to be produced by Jai Jagdish and Vijayalakshmi. Mumbai-based actor cum director Sachin Pilgaonkar (of 'Tu Tu Main Main' serial fame) is supposed to direct the film. Jayaprada had shown lot of eagerness and interest to work in this project. But will she be able to give the producers the required dates?

Dr Vishnu has advised the producers to start shooting the film in April. He will be completing work relating to the shooting of dubbing of his present film Maathaad Mathaad Mallige by that time. He will also be finishing dubbing work for Sunil Kumar Desai's Kshana Kshana.

Darshan, who will be acting in another important role in the film, has said that he is prepared to adjust his dates whenever required for the films sake.

As for as Jayaprada is concerned, the recent developments of the announcement of the Uttar Pradesh elections has altered her plans. The election commission has recently announced the dates of elections to Uttar Pradesh in seven phases from April 7 to May 8 and the counting of votes to be held on May 11.

The U.P. elections are very crucial for the Samajwaadi Party to which Jayaprada belongs. Being a Member of Parliament from UP, the actress is bound to canvass for his party round the clock in UP. This means that till the middle of May the actress may not be able to participate in the shooting.

The sudden development has now taken Vijayalakshmi and Jayaprada by surprise - what they will do now is to be seen.
