Cut VIPs' water supply in case of shortage: Kejriwal

New Delhi, March 25 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday made it clear that VIPs cannot have the privilege of uninterrupted water supply in case of shortage, and asked the Delhi Jal Board to cut supply in privileged areas if needed.

"There is no reason for only the common man to suffer a water crisis. In future, if there is a shortage, ensure that everyone, including VIPs, have to bear the brunt of it," Kejriwal said in the assembly.

"The only people to be excluded are the president, prime minister, hospitals and embassies," he added.
