New Delhi, March 25 (IANS): A court here on Wednesday remanded an accused arrested in connection with rape videos that were posted on phone messaging service WhatsApp to a day's police custody.

Metropolitan Magistrate Sujit Saurabh allowed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to quiz accused Kalia Sahoo alias Subrat Sahoo till March 26.

Sahoo was arrested from Bhubaneswar on March 23 and brought to Delhi after a local court there granted three days transit remand to the CBI.

A first information report was registered in the case on the order of the Supreme Court on February 27 directing the CBI to undertake an investigation into the rape videos that were posted on the popular app.
