Gold-plated urn stolen from Haryana gurdwara


Chandigarh, March 25 (IANS): A gold-plated kalash (urn) worth Rs.15 lakh was stolen from the famous Sikh gurdwara (shrine) Nada Sahib in Haryana's Panchkula town, police said on Wednesday.

Nada Sahib, about 20 km from here, is a prominent gurdwara of the region and gets thousands of devotees every week.

Police officials said a case has been registered and investigations have begun.
