13 killed in Pakistan bus accident


Islamabad, March 25 (IANS): At least 13 people were killed and 15 injured on Wednesday in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a truck in Pakistan's Sindh province.

The accident took place near Kahirpur district's Setharja area, Dawn online reported.

An official said the driver of the bus, travelling from Islamabad to Karachi, lost control of the vehicle which caused it to ram into the truck coming from the opposite direction.

The driver had lost control due to the dilapidated condition of the road, the official added.
