New Delhi, March 20 (IANS): Delhi witnessed on Friday its hottest day so far this year as the maximum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 30.6 degrees Celsius. Saturday is likely to witness similar weather.
"The sky will remain clear tomorrow (Saturday) with mist in the morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 30 and 15 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Friday's minimum temperature was recorded at 14.5 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.
The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 96 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was 28.3 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average while the minimum was 14 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
