Bengal swine flu toll mounts to 23


Kolkata, March 18 (IANS): Swine flu has claimed one more life in West Bengal, taking the toll to 23, a health official said on Wednesday.

septuagenarian woman succumbed to the infection on Wednesday, said Principal Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Malay Kumar De, while adding 18 fresh cases were reported since Tuesday.

"Eighteen new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. Since January, 358 positive cases have been recorded," he said.
