Bangalore, Feb 8: The Kannada film stars have declared that they are prepared to fight for securing justice for the people of Karnataka and have resolved to join any forces that will fight the injustice done to Karnataka.

Veteran actor Dr Vishnuvardhan has said that he was deeply hurt with the judgments of the tribunal which really looks like a mockery of fair play and justice. We have to necessarily go all out to secure the interests of the farmers and the people of Karnataka. We film artists are always ready to fight for the state's interests' said Vishnuvardhan.

Dwarakish says `I think they have not considered Karnataka itself. It's one side. Everybody are unhappy. When we can't feed the water for one crore persons in Bangalore, how can we give water to others. I request all the artists, technicians and every one in the industry to join hand and fight against this water problem.

M P Shankar - Where we have got the water to share to them? When ever there is enough water it automatically flows to them. When we are facing problem how can we give it to others. I think we have failed in giving proper documents to the court. At least now all the political parties should unite and do something.

Actors Srinivasa Murthy says " Cauvery water birth has taken place here in Karnataka. How can we part with our own water when our people are suffering for so many years? What are our Members of Parliament are doing?. They are celebrating at our cost. We have to fight as we fought in Gokak Chaluvali headed by Dr Rajkumar. At least in future we will get justice."

Another senior actor Devaraj also expressed his unhappiness over the judgment and said that he will join any group or organisation that takes up the cause of people who are in dire need of water for their survival. "We are prepared to fight as artists as the interest of the state is supreme' he added.

Television director B Suresha has termed the decision as unfair and has called for fighting against this injustice.
