Mangalore, Feb 5: DYFI and JMS staged protest against mis-management in Wenlock Hospital in front of the deputy commissioner's office here on Monday February 5 morning.

Speaking on the occasion DYFI state president Sunil Kumar Bajal said that Wenlock Hospital has today is not serving the poor but the rich. "There is no place for poor people in Wenlock.  For everything the patients are charged a high amount.  The people's representatives who are elected by the people to serve the community are busy amassing wealth for themselves and their families.  This has created a situation wherein the poor and the weaker sections of the society are continuously neglected," he added.

The projects and policies of the present government are not pro-people but anti-people.  They are not aimed at emancipating the lifestyle of the masses but only of a few people," thundered Pramila, president of Janawadi association.

DYFI district president Muneer Katipalla, Dayanand Shetty, Ashok Konchadi, B Madhava K R Sriyan and Shshidhar were also present on the occasion.
