Mangalore, Feb 5 A youth was assaulted at Jalligudde near Bajal here for putting up banner advertising for a religious event.
This episode became an issue when people of various religious communities formed groups.
On Sunday evening a youth was putting up a banner for a religious event in Jalligudde when miscreants attacked him and assaulted him. According to sources, there was exchange of heated words between people of different communities and the police had to intervene to restore peace.
