Beltangady, Feb 4: A flute recital by Shashank of Chennai stole the show at the cultural programme held on Saturday as part of the Mahamastakabisheka in Dharmastala.

In the beginning 'Geetha Namana' (Praying to God through songs), was done by Sheela Diwakar and team from Mangalore.

Flute recital drew the attention of all music lovers. Shashank along with Purabayan Chatarji on Sitar, Patri Sathish Kumar on Tabor, Satyajit Talwalkar on Tabla, Arun Kumar on Drums and Srikanth Venkatraman on Violin entertained the gathering for more than two hours. 

The Chavu dance by Sheethalpur Ganesh and troupe, Kolkotta, entertained the gathering by dance of peacock and lion.

Bharathanaatyam was also performed by Bhanumathi and team from Bangalore.
