Mangalore, Feb 4: Thieves gained entry into the house of advocate Amarendra Shetty and have stolen gold and valuables worth lacs of rupees.

According to a complaint registered at the Venoor Police Station, the theft took place on Feb 2 between 9.30 am and 11 am.

The isolated house located at Hosangadi of Maroor village in Mangalore taluk was burgled. The thieves broke open the main door and stole 876 gms of gold ornaments and some petty cash Rs. 3,800/. The stolen property is worth around Rs 8 lac.
