Kanpur, Jan 24: Panic prevailed at UP Kirana Seva Samiti Vidyalaya on Saturday when class IX student Shardul Pandey barged into the school with two guns and threatened the management, principal, vice-principal and teachers with dire consequences.
The latter complained that Pandey circulated rumours and half truths about facing harassment at their hands. Irate teachers, demanding Pandey's immediate dismissal went on an indefinite strike. Although the staff members bore the brunt of humiliation at the hands of Pandey for the past month, the management watched helplessly.
