Mangalore, Jan 14: The Mangalore Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) which is under Corporation bank has won the prestigious Official Language Implementation Award.

The award has been instituted by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs and it is the third consecutive year that TOLIC has bagged the award under the scheme introduced by the country to recognize the efforts of TOLIC constituted all over India.

Mangalore TOLIC has been outstanding in all the parameters set by the ministry. Bank executive managing director K L Gopalakrishna received the award from Minister of state for Home Affairs Manikrao Gavit in a programme organized in Kochi recently.
