Mangalore, Jan 14: A special mela for children with disability was organized in Canara High School, Dongerkeri on Sunday, January 14. The unique event was organized by Asha Jyothi, a unit of Seva Bharati, Recreation Club for Disabled.
Special Mela for the Disabled -2007 as it was called was inaugurated by In-charge minister for DK district Nagaraj Shetty.
Corporation Bank general manager A Mohan Rao, Yojaka India Private Limited, managing director Jagadish Boloor, Srinivas Rao, deputy director Women and Children Welfare Department, Getrude Veigas, and district officer for the welfare of the disabled B Puttaswami were present on the occasion.
