SpiceJet to resume services to Hubli

New Delhi, Feb 10 (IANS): Budget passenger carrier SpiceJet Tuesday said it will resume services to Hubli under its new schedule starting from March 1, 2015.

The airline will connect Hubli with Bengaluru and Mumbai.

According to the airline, the new schedule will be effective March 1, 2015 and bookings for these flights are now open.

The airline said that it is offering fares starting at just Rs.2,673 on both Hubli-Bengaluru and Hubli-Mumbai sectors.

The airline will operate 78-seater Bombardier Q-400 aircraft on these routes.

Earlier, the airline had suspended its Hubli operations as the runway was under maintenance since October 2014.

"The airline is now pleased to resume its services from the city after the runway has been declared to be completely functional," the airline said in a statement.

The airline had recently announced a new enhanced schedule with improved metro to metro connectivity, attractive day return options, enhanced non-metro connections and better timings.

The airline added that the network and schedule will be further enhanced in the Summer Schedule starting March 29, 2015.
