Hyderabad, Feb 10 (IANS): Hailing AAP's landslide victory in Delhi, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao Tuesday said the results showed that people want a corruption-free and transparent governance.
The chief minister said the verdict was a proof that people were against traditional politics.
The president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) said the people of Delhi took a right decision by giving a huge mandate to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
KCR, as the chief minister is known, sent a message to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, congratulating him on the massive victory.
The TRS chief recalled that AAP had supported the democratic aspiration of the people of Telangana for a separate state.
He hoped that Delhi will make an all-round progress under Kejriwal's leadership.
