Chennai, Jan 22 (IANS): Consulting and enterprise solutions company, TAKE Solutions Ltd., has rebranded its life sciences offering and renamed its subsidiaries as Navitas, a top official said here Thursday.

"We have just rebranded the life sciences service and the subsidiaries. There will be no change in the staff or in the patent owned by the subsidiaries. There is no change in management and other structures," Srinivasan H.R., vice chairman and managing director, told reporters.

He said the Rs.822 crore turnover company is not looking at new investors for the life sciences business.

Srinivasan said the company gets nearly 61 percent of its revenue from life sciences vertical while 31 percent is contributed by supply chain solutions business.

To a query why the company did not look at rebranding its supply chain business that contributes lower turnover, he said Navitas will be purely a life science services brand.

The official said the company may be not spending any significant amount on the rebranding efforts.

Srinivasan said the total addressable market of the life science industry is valued at $15.9 billion and the company's move to create a new brand is to meet the demand of this market in time to emerge as a competent and differentiated player.
