New Delhi, Jan 14 (HT) : A church in west Delhi's Vikaspuri area was vandalised by unknown miscreants early on Wednesday morning, officials said.
The incident came to light at 8:30am when officials of Our Lady of Graces church noticed broken shards of glass and statues inside the premises and informed the police.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the church and the footage show two men approaching the church at 4:19am.
"Two men on scooter stopped outside the church and broke the glass windows and left. However, they returned almost two minutes after the incident and damaged the statues," said Balraj, a member of the church.
Police officials rushed to spot and are currently scrutinising the CCTV footage for more details.
A prominent Catholic church, St Sebastian's Church, in northeast Delhi's Dilshad Garden was gutted in a major fire on December 2 last year and church officials had alleged arson and foul play.
