Lahore wedding hall collapse kills seven


Islamabad, Jan 14 (IANS): At least seven people, including the bride, were killed when the roof of a wedding hall collapsed in Pakistan's Lahore city, the media reported.

The roof came down when a wedding ceremony was on Tuesday night, Dawn online reported. The dead included another woman and two children. Twenty people were injured.

Police said the newly built wedding hall, inaugurated only four days ago, could not withstand the late night downpour and crumbled.
