New Delhi, Jan 12 (IANS): An elderly woman was robbed and murdered by unidentified assailants at her west Delhi home Monday, police said.
Police said Sulochna, 58, was present along with her five-year-old grandson at her home in Punjabi Bagh locality around 11 a.m. Monday when a group of assailants barged into the house and held her hostage in a room.
When she resisted the intruders, they stabbed her many times and fled with valuables and cash, police said.
She was taken to hospital where she died during treatment.
