Udupi, Dec 20: Mumbai entrepreneur and social worker N K Billawa has announced his resignation to his post of Udupi district vice president and primary membership of the Samajwadi Party led by S Bangarappa.
He also said he would continue his work in his native district and his business base, Mumbai and would not be involved in active politics.
Billawa had contested the last assembly election from the Byndoor constituency in the district.
Currently he is serving as a director in the Sharada Education Society.
