Mangalore Dec 18: Sanatana Natyalaya on the occasion of completing 20 successful years is organizing a cultural week from Thursday December 21.  Natyalaya will also confer Soughandhika Award on 7 achievers who have contributed immensely to cultural field.

This was announced in a press conference here on Monday December 18 by Sanatana Natyalaya director Chandrasekhar K Shetty.

The prestigious Soughandhika Award will be conferred seven achievers on seven days of the cultural week.  The awardees include Alva’s Education Foundation founder president Dr Mohan Alva, PVS Group president Madhusudhan Kushe, Corporation bank general manager A Mohan Rao, Karnataka bank chairman Anantakrishna, well-known social activist Sumathi V Shenoy, senior folklore and Tulu scholar Dr Amrit Someshwar and Samskara Bharati state president Kumble Sunder Rao.

Vidhushi Sharadamani Shekhar, vidushi Shreelatha Nagaraj and Samskara Bharathi president Suresh Raj were present at the press meet.
