Bantwal, Dec 12: Six persons who had been taken to custody following a minor blast in Sevanjali Trust building at Farangipet near here have been released after taking a written undertaking from them on Monday December 11.
Though no one was arrested in this regard, 8 persons were taken for investigation. They were produced before the local court here on Monday and were released later after taking a written undertaking from them. They have been identified as Mohammad Shahid, Ayub, Hanif, Hamza, Mohammad Toufik and Dawood. They are the residents of Kumpanamajalu.
Meanwhile Indian Union Muslim League has appealed district SP not to trap innocent people in connection with the blast at Sevanjali Trust. The League said that while the actual accused are still at large, some innocent locals have been trapped.
