Kundapur, Dec 11: A man from Kodi near here drowned in the sea while fishing near Kodi on Sunday December 10.
Jagannath Poojary (40) of Kodi had gone fishing on a traditional small ferry boat in the sea. He was fishing close to the sea shore when he slipped and fell in the water. However, before he could recover and reach the shore, he was washed away by a mighty wave.
His body was later found on Kodi beach on Sunday evening. The body was handed over to his family after conducting autopsy here. Kundapur police have registered a case in this regard.
