Mangalore Dec 9: Allama Prabhu Lalithakala Academy has planned to extend distance education for the visually-impaired persons and for working people.

Academy administrator Academy T Jayaram speaking to the press here on Saturday December 9 said that the Academy would provide distance education for the visually-impaired in Bachelor and Masters degrees in Fine Arts, music and dance and PhD for people who are working.

He added that some of the courses offered have been introduced for the first time.
