Mangalore, Dec 10: A national-level conference on Homeopathic system of medicine organized by Fr Muller Homeopathic Medical College at the college campus in Deralakatte was held here on Saturday December 9.
Speaking after inaugurating the conference, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) registrar Dr Vasant Kumar S informed that RGUHS has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore for promoting research activities among the University faculty.
He further informed that the University has planned to outsource 50,000 research activities so as to encourage young faculty in other colleges to take up research in various fields of medicine.
Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza presided over the programme. Delegates from Sri Lanka and different parts of India participated in the conference.
College administrator Fr Stany Tauro, director Dr Baptist Menezes, principal Dr S K Tiwari and organizing secretary Dr Roshan Pinto were present.
