Mangalore, Dec 9: A seven-year-old boy died after falling into a well near his school on Saturday December 9 morning.
Prajwal (7), son of Shekhar Shetty of Mulki died after falling into well. He was the student of class 3 at Narayanaguru English Medium School at Mulki. Since annual sports meet was on progress, the school had been declared holiday. However, Prajwal had gone to the school for the sports meet.
After reaching the school campus, he started playing with his pals. It was when he was running ahead that he fell in the well which did not have protecting wall around it. Though he was fished out of the well immediately and rushed to the hospital, he breathed his last on the way.
Mulki police have registered a case in this regard.
