Mangalore, Dec 9: A MoU has been signed by the Karnataka Bank Ltd. and Orb Energy Pvt Ltd for financing solar equipment manufactured and marketed by the company.
The MoU was signed by Karnataka Bank general manager G K Bhat and Orb Energy Pvt Ltd chief operating officer N P Ramesh on Friday December 8.
Customers availing finance under this scheme will get a benefit of sum equal to Rs 25 per watt peak from Orb Energy Pvt Ltd. Over the next 5 years, the company intends to sell 10 to 20 MWp of photovoltaic products and reach more than 1 lac residential and commercial customers.
Present on the occasion were Nithyananda Shetty and Damian Miller from Orb energy Pvt Ltd and Jairam Hande and Vittal Rao, deputy general managers of Karnataka Bank.
