Moodbidri, Dec 9: The JD (S) local unit organized a protest rally against the Town Municipal Council here on Friday December 8 morning.
JD (S) blamed the TMC for corruption and bizarre administration which has resulted in stopping various developmental works in the area.
Speaking on the occasion former minister Amarnath Shetty appealed the people to vote JD (S) in the coming elections, so that the party may bring back changes in the TMC and continue with the developmental works. Former TMC member and president of Mangalore APMC Krishnaraj Hegde blamed that the MLA is directly involved in the corruption that has been so prevalent in the TMC.
TMC members Hanif Alangar, Bhoja Kotian, ZP member Sucharit Shetty, JD (S) secretary M B Sadashiv, Moodbidri zonal JD (S) president Fredrick Pinto and others were also present at the protest rally.
