Mangalore, Dec 9: The Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Producers' Union is organizing a spot painting competition for the students on Tuesday December 12.

The competitions will be held at Milagres Hall here under the brand name of KMF Nandini.  District-in-charge minister B Nagaraj Shetty will inaugurate the competition while Union president Kapu Diwakar Shetty would preside over the function.

This was announced in a press conference by Union president Kapu Diwakar Shetty here on Friday December 8.

Students from class 3 to class 10 can participate in the competition.  All the material required for painting will be provided by the organizers.  To make it more efficient and competitive, four groups have been made.  Each group will have separate prizes for boys and girls.

The valedictory of the programme will be held on the same evening and will be presided over by state medical education minister Dr V S Acharya.  MLA Yogish Bhat, mayor Vijaya Arun and Fr Walter D'Mello, parish priest of Milagres Church will be the chief guests on the occasion.
