Mangalore, Dec 8: The renovated laboratories of Kasturba Medical College (KMC) were inaugurated here on Thursday December 7.
Speaking on the occasion, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) president Dr Ramdas M Pai said that the lab is the only one in the region with state-of-the-art facilities and KMC will be trying to procure certification from National Accreditation Board for Laboratory (NABL).
MAHE pro-chancellor Dr H S Ballal released the first issue of the wall paper ‘Interface’ of the HR department. Dr Pai presented a cheque of Rs 10 lac to the family of college librarian Dudappa who passed away recently.
Chief operating officer and medical superintendent Dr Sunil Deshpande, KMC dean Dr C V Raghuveer and others were present.
