Mangalore, Dec 6: The Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy has organized a workshop on voveo-vers (traditional Mangalorean songs sung during weddings) at Bangalore on Sunday December 10.
The workshop will be held at "Konkani Bhavan" at Mattikere and will be inaugurated at 9.30 in the morning. Konkani academy president Eric Ozario is the director the workshop. Hilda Moras, Irene Rebello, Ravi Stephen and Pooja Dhareshwar from Dharwad will be the resource person for the workshop.
The valedictory of the workhop will be held at 4.30 pm on the same day. Valerian Fernandes, president of Federation of Karnataka Konkani Catholic Associations, Bangalore will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
