Mangalore Dec 5: The part of “Prasa Bhandara”, a book written by Karkala Shankar Bhandary was released on Tuesday December 5 morning by Dr Mohan Alva, founder president of Alva’s Institutions.
Dayanand Payyade, president of Photographers’ Association welcomed the gathering.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Mohan Alva said that he still vividly remembered the times he and Shankar Bhandary spent together in school as students. ‘We were great friends during out school days and were actively involved in all extra-curricular activities. But Shankar Bhandary was popular for his oratorical skills,” he added.
President of press club Anand Shetty was also present on the occasion.
