Mangalore, Dec 5: In preparation for the annual feast of the Blessed Shrine of Mudipu, the procession of offerings was held on Sunday December 3, from Mudipu church to the shrine.
The offerings were brought by people from seven wards of Mudipu parish and parishes of Fajir, Bola, Vorkadi, Mogarnad, Permannur, Urwa, Vijayadka, Nithyadhar Nagar, Ranipura and Ammembal.
The offerings were symbolically received by Rolphy Mascarenhas.
On the occasion, the renovated ‘meditation cave’ was inaugurated by Fajir parish priest Richard Saldanha.
The concelebrated Mass was offered by St Aloysius College rector Francis Serrao SJ with Fr Andrew D’Souza, Fr Pradeep Correa and Fr Richard Saldanha.
Fr Andrew thanked all those who brought the offerings. Later, an auction of the offerings was held.
