Mangalore Dec 4: The famous ‘Kambala’ (buffalo race) of Kadri Guttu will be held on Sunday December 10.

This was announced in a press conference held here on Monday December 4 by Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, president of the Dakshina Kannada chapter of Kannada Sahtiya Parishat.

The buffalo race has been organized by Kadri Kambala Samiti while it has also organized several competitions such as ‘muddy field race’, tug-of-war and Tulunadu Tappangayi in association with Shri Ganesh Shipping Agencies, Land Links and Lions Club Kodialbial.

Kadri Navaneeth Shetty, Nityananda Shetty, Nityanand Shetty, Balakrishna Kottari and Chandrahas Shetty were also present at the press conference.
