Udupi, Dec 3: Artists of coastal districts have planned to organize a unique programme to sensitize the people on the impact of sea erosion.

Artist Srinath Manipal in a press release has stated that the artists will organise unique campaign through sand art on the Malpe beach on Sunday.

He also stressed the need to save the life in the sea and prevent discharge of effluents into the sea.

Artists will make an effort to emphasize on the need to save birds dependent on the sea organisms as well as the sea from pollution though sand sculptures.

Srinath Manipal, Venkatramana Kamath, Ravi Hirebettu and Purandar Malpe will participate in the campaign.
